Venusian Dawn
Description:
This picture was created by taking 45,000 pictures of Venus, sorting the best, and stacking half of them together to develop this view. I spent a lot of time collecting color frames through RGB filters to reveal the subtle tonality of a notoriously bland Venusian cloud deck. The various pastels arise out of the choice to photograph this as the sun was rising, washing the scene with various colors other than pure blue sky.
I did have some fun pushing the overall balance and composition into something I felt artistically pleasing and otherworldly. So, please accept it, and enjoy!
