About
I am a self-taught photographer based in Michigan with a background in science and engineering. Over the last decade, I have taken a particular interest in the discipline of astrophotography. I am able to explore the universe around us and reveal the unseen beauty of the natural world through my camera oftentimes without ever leaving home!
My work has been internationally awarded, published, and exhibited through various outlets, including: NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day, Astronomy magazine, Sky and Telescope magazine, the Astronomy Photographer of the Year, and others.
I am excited to share these views with you for the first time or perhaps display some familiar scenes in a new light. As much as I love to photograph the night sky, I also have a passion for the art of image processing and revealing aspects of the imagery that would otherwise be unseen. My hope is to build this site into a helpful resource which inspires everyone.
Let's sit back and marvel at beauty within the vast reaches of space. I sincerely hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do!
